Gene Therapy is a big goal nowadays for medicine and biomedicine research. The Human Genome Project along with all the technological improvements in the last 20 years have provided a major breakthrough in DNA research. However, we still have high walls to overcome.
There are many diseases and human disabilities that we still do not understand and which we cannot control. Most of these complex diseases are lethal and are caused by complex genetic disorders.
Gene therapy research is already showing promising results in Medicine and Biomedicine, however this research is not being fully disseminated: scientific knowledge should be available to everyone in an understandable and plain fashion.
